8K compatible HDMI connections

Yamaha designers have equipped the MusicCast RX-V4A receiver with a set of HDMI connectors (4 inputs/1 output) compatible with 8K/60 Hz resolution. Thanks to this, the device will be able to serve as a home entertainment center for many years, to which the user can easily connect even several sources supporting 8K resolution at the same time, e.g. game consoles. The HDMI ports also support lower resolutions, including, of course, 4K/120 Hz. 8K support requires an update to the receiver's software. To fully enjoy 8K resolution, you must also have access to a compatible TV.

Compliance with HDR10+ and other modern standards

The HDR10+ standard stands out for its support for dynamic metadata, which sets it apart from other standards that only support static metadata. As a result, information is provided about the characteristics desired by the filmmakers not only of the entire production, but also of individual scenes, including: in terms of contrast between light and dark parts. Support for the HDR10+ standard will be introduced by updating the receiver's software

Yamaha RX-V4A

Features designed with PC gamers in mind

The Yamaha MusicCast RX-V4A receiver has been enriched with the latest technologies used, for example, in new consoles. The device uses, among others: ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). Thanks to the first one, the console can send information to the receiver and TV that automatically activates the gaming mode. This mode is distinguished by no lag and improved display. When you switch the source, e.g. back to a movie, the ALLM function is automatically disabled. The second solution, VRR, is a mechanism used in games that eliminates tearing of image frames and minimizes delays, and also adjusts the refresh rate to maintain image smoothness. Together with two additional functions, QMS (Quick Media Switching) minimizing signal delay when switching and eliminating a momentary black screen, and QFT (Quick Frame Transport) limiting the delay when transmitting image frames, the RX-V4A receiver becomes a fantastic proposition for gamers who expect high sound quality in games and while maintaining key functionalities from the player's point of view that affect image quality. Functions designed for gaming are made available through software updates, and a compatible TV is required to operate them.

Completely new design

What catches your attention when you first encounter the RX-V4A is its completely new design. Gently rounded sides combined with an attractively integrated display and a small number of buttons and knobs give the receiver a noble character, while maintaining ease of use and quick access to all important functions of the device.

Fully redesigned amplifier design

The Yamaha RX-V4A, like the RX-V6A model, is distinguished by a fully redesigned amplifier section, featuring, among others, high rate of input voltage rise. Thanks to this, and thanks to the power of 80 W per channel (8 Ω), the receiver provides powerful and dynamic sound, both for movies and music. New amplifier

MANAGE HOW YOU WANT AND WHERE YOU WANT

Yamaha MusicCast multiroom system and network functions (including AirPlay 2)

An important element of the RX-V4A is the proprietary MusicCast system, thanks to which you can, among others: send music from the receiver directly to devices in other rooms and vice versa. The receiver is also equipped with numerous network functions: built-in streaming services (including Spotify and Tidal), internet radio, AirPlay2 support and two-way Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 / 5 GHz).

Yamaha MusicCast

Possibility to connect wireless rear speakers (MusicCast Surround)

A practical convenience in the RX-V4A is support for the MusicCast Surround function. Thanks to it, you can wirelessly connect MusicCast 20 or MusicCast 50 speakers to the receiver as rear surround speakers. This solution eliminates the need to run cables from the receiver to the rear speakers, which allows you to enjoy the full capabilities of the home theater system while maintaining the aesthetics of the listening room.

Operation via remote control, MusicCast application or voice assistants

In addition to the remote control supplied with the device, the receiver can be operated using the free, Polish-language MusicCast application. You can also use voice assistants to control the RX-V4A (their availability may vary depending on the region and requires a device with a built-in microphone, e.g. a smartphone or speaker with a built-in voice assistant)

A wide range of connectors

The receiver allows you to connect almost any sound and image source. The device is equipped with a USB port (on the front), a network port, as well as coaxial and optical digital inputs and three pairs of analog inputs.

Indiana Line Nota 260 X

Indiana Line is one of the most important Italian brands that offers loudspeakers and installation loudspeakers. The brand's traditions date back to 1977. The goal of engineers and designers working for Indiana Line from the very beginning has been the highest quality of workmanship combined with the rational use of components. This approach allows the speakers to achieve sonic values that go far beyond those achievable in a similar price range.

Note – structures that will last for years

The timeless shapes of the Indiana Line speaker cabinets from the Nota series confirm the craftsmanship of Italian design. Stylishly profiled side panels are finished with an aesthetic and at the same time durable vinyl coating in light walnut or black oak. The Nota 260

The largest stand-mounted design from the Nota series

Indiana Line Nota 260 The low-midrange transducer is distinguished by a long linear diaphragm travel. The bass reflex port in the Nota 260 X model is located at the back. This structure was intended for medium-sized listening rooms (up to 20 m2). It will work perfectly in a classic stereo system wherever there is no space for large floor standing speakers. The Note 260 X has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, and the dedicated amplifier power to power it should be between 30 and 100 W.

Nota 740 X – perfect for a home theater system

The Indiana Line Nota 740 They work in a horizontal symmetrical arrangement, in which the tweeter is located between two woofers. The bass reflex hole is located at the back, which reduces the audibility of pipe resonances coming from inside, which have a negative impact on the readability of the reproduced voice. Nota 740 X was created primarily for use in home theater systems. It works especially well in medium-sized rooms (from approx. 12 to approx. 20 m2). Together with the Nota 550 X floorstanding speakers or the Nota 260 X bookshelf speakers (as front speakers) and the Nota 240 in the DTS:X standard. The Nota 740

Clear and clean sound

The polypropylene diaphragms of the symmetrically placed mid-woofer speakers reproduce the midrange sound gently and warmly, and at the same time guarantee a solid dose of bass. Similarly to the woofers used in other models from the Nota series, also here the low-midrange drivers have micro-grooves resembling a CD. The tweeter with a neodymium magnet and a radial damping chamber is located in a specially profiled front, which improves the dispersion of high tones. Moreover, the Nota 740

Indiana Line Nota 240 X

Indiana Line is one of the most important Italian brands in the audio sector, offering loudspeakers. Indiana Line's traditions date back to 1977. The goal of this brand's engineers and designers remains the highest quality of workmanship and rational use of components. All this to achieve sound values that go far beyond the structures offered in a similar price range.

Timeless design of the Nota series

The Nota 240 X model is the embodiment of the craftsmanship of Italian design in a compact form. Stylishly profiled side panels are finished with a durable and aesthetic vinyl coating. The columns are available in two colors - light walnut or black oak. All this means that the stand-mounted design of the Note 240 X will not only decorate the room, but will also surprise the listener with an extremely exciting and engaging sound with exceptionally high dynamics. The optimized production process and the perfect combination of all components perfectly bring this range of loudspeakers to life.

Note 240 X – inconspicuous design

Indiana Line Nota 240 The column is perfect for apartments and small interiors with an area of up to 12 m2. Thanks to its compact dimensions, you can place it almost anywhere and even hang it on the wall. A bass reflex port located on the back of the housing helps this small design reproduce low bass when placed closer to a wall, and an included foam plug can be used to dampen it. The Note 240 X has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, and the dedicated amplifier power to drive it is 30 to 60 W. This model is perfect for, among others as an effect speaker in a home theater system, as well as in a stereo set, as a TV sound system (in combination with a properly selected amplifier). You can also use a pair of Nota 240 X speakers as micro tower speakers.

Clean and deep sound

The polypropylene diaphragm of the mid-woofer with micro-grooves (similar to a CD) reproduces the sound of mid-range tones gently and warmly, and at the same time guarantees sufficiently strong reproduction of deep bass. The tweeter dome with a neodymium magnet and a unique radial damping chamber in the Nota 240 X model is placed in a specially profiled structural element, which improves the dispersion of high tones. To emphasize the uniqueness of these loudspeakers, the tweeter filter uses only air coils and foil capacitors, thanks to which the processed treble sounds are clean and clear.

Indiana Line Basso 840

The Indiana Line brand was founded in 1977 in Turin. Currently, it is one of the most important Italian brands offering loudspeakers and installation loudspeakers. The brand is distinguished from its competitors by the rational use of components and an optimized production process. The goals that designers and engineers working for Indiana Line constantly pursue have resulted in the appearance on the market of models with sound qualities that go far beyond the parameters that can be achieved at a similar price.

The Basso series and unique acoustic possibilities

Basso models are active subwoofers with incredible acoustic capabilities. They were designed to complement the low-frequency range processed by loudspeakers in stereo and home theater systems. The amplifiers built into Basso subwoofers are equipped with a complete control section, which allows them to be perfectly matched with other components of the audio system and the acoustics of the listening room.

Efficient bass reflex housing

This active subwoofer will work well not only among home cinema fans, but also music lovers. It uses two bass reflex ports with outlets located on the rear of the housing, which allows to minimize unwanted turbulence when air flows through the ventilation channels of the subwoofer housing. Very low tuning of the resonance system protects the 275 mm woofer transducer from excessive excursion. In order to further deepen the bass, it was placed from the bottom (it produces sound towards the floor).
