The e 865-S is a version of the e 865 equipped with a clickless on/off switch. It is a fully professional super-cardioid vocal microphone that uses the best condenser microphone technology to achieve new standards in quality and sound. The microphone capsule has a special plate that protects the diaphragm from excessive sound pressure, mainly from strong plosives.
