Network DSP processor

 The LAs15A active subwoofer can be used to extend the low frequencies. This device is capable of processing and powering up to 3 LA26s. The LAs15A features a powerful, highly efficient Class D (2x2000W) PFC amplifier module that delivers an impressive sonic punch with perfectly balanced, rich and transparent sound at any volume. The integrated Networkable 24bit/96kHz DSP can be monitored in real time and remotely controlled via proprietary SOUNDWARE software. There are seven factory presets and one free memory for easy and versatile operation.

Horizontal dispersion plots 

The LA26 has a nominal 100º horizontal and 12º vertical coverage with unmatched dispersion control and smooth, even sound radiation.

Axially symmetrical 

Planar diaphragms and the integration of the LF drivers in the spheroidal waveguide eliminate the cavity effect and avoid interference in the propagation of sound waves generated by the HF driver. This special design seamlessly connects the HF and LF acoustic centers to generate precisely coherent wave fronts. The sound energy is smooth and evenly distributed throughout the coverage area.

Elegant application and optional products

To keep your LA26 system discreet and elegant at all times, you can use the Ground Stack Sub-Adapter or the Flying Adapter to have a discreet transition look between the LA26 and the LAs15 (or LAs15A). Alternatively, you can always use a frame for both uses.

The LAs15A is a subwoofer model that completes the LA26 Line Array range. The subwoofer features a long-excursion 15-inch B&C driver powered by the DPA4000 (power module with DSP). This unit is capable of delivering up to 2000W rms with incredible precision and punch at an incredible SPL, combining optimized acoustic, electro-acoustic and electronic solutions to maximize performance.

The heart of the LAs15A is a powerful, lightweight, highly efficient class D power amplifier module with a PFC switched-mode power supply. The DPA4000 delivers impressive sound with a perfectly balanced, rich and transparent sound at any volume. PC controlled 24bit/96kHz DSP with low noise A/DD/A converters, provides 8 selectable presets (7 factory and 1 user defined) which can be accessed via easy select located on the front panel of the module or editable in real time using a PC running "SOUNDWARE 4.0.1". This allows you to easily customize your sound program for different applications or locations. The Soundware software allows you to edit 7 pre-loaded presets and store them in a user-specified memory location. Editable parameters are: 10 PEQ/LSF/HSF, Sub Delay, Satellite Delay, System Delay, HPF, LPF, Level, Polarity, Mute. The LAs15A subwoofer is versatile enough to suit any fixed installation or rental application. Sound designers, engineers or integrators can choose from standard or cardioid configurations, creating a variety of symmetrical and asymmetrical directivity patterns to suit each specific solution. The LAs15A can be hung on the LA26 and is able to power up to 3 LA26 speakers, making it the perfect solution for any indoor/outdoor venue.
