HK Audio POLAR 12 combines exceptional sound quality with extremely convenient operation to provide the easiest path to the best sound. 24-bit DSP converters and high-end POLAR 12 speaker components deliver exceptionally clear and natural sound from 38Hz to 20kHz. The high-end subwoofer design and 2,000W power amplifier deliver XXL sound, from a low whisper to huge volume.

The wide coverage angle of 120° and exceptional resistance to feedback make HK Audio POLAR 12 easy to place anywhere. It can even be placed directly behind the performer, meaning no separate stage monitors are needed. POLAR 12 can be positioned without a pad for even more flexible positioning options, e.g. on high stages.

Whilst the POLAR 10 is well suited to all common column system applications, the POLAR 12 excels in situations where powerful bass is required for continuous operation over extended periods of time. Featuring a larger cabinet and a 12" woofer, the POLAR 12 gives you that extra bass support that bass enthusiasts love so much. This makes it a great choice for DJs who need powerful bass throughout the show. Unlike the usual bass boost with electronic filters, POLAR 12's powerful bass is physically produced by a long-excursion woofer in an acoustically optimized wooden cabinet. That's why the POLAR 12 bass delivers higher sound pressure and headroom, even with soaring levels, keeping the mid and high frequencies in perfect balance at high volumes.

The built-in 4-channel mixer offers two mic/line channels, a dedicated instrument channel, e.g. for acoustic guitar, and an aux channel for players, as well as the ability to stream audio via Bluetooth 5.0. POLAR 12 favorite settings can be saved in five individual user presets. The new EAS connection system eliminates the need for cables and guarantees easy set-up, while ensuring that POLAR 12 is securely and stably placed in any location. An included gig bag for column elements and a subwoofer cover make handling even easier.

XXL sound experience

24-bit DSP combined with high-end speakers deliver exceptionally transparent, natural sound across the entire frequency range, from punchy bass to sparkling highs. A 2000W power amplifier drives a 1-inch horn, high-output midrange drivers, and a custom-designed long-excursion woofer housed in an acoustically engineered wooden enclosure. This combination provides an XXL audio experience in any scenario. Everything from calming background music to dinner accompaniment to a rhythmic, pulsating sound that adds a high level of excitement to your party.

Pleasant sound all around

With a wide 120° coverage and incredible feedback resistance, the HK Audio POLAR 12 can be used anywhere you want, both on stage and in the room. In many cases, you can dispense with a stage monitor altogether. POLAR 12 can also be easily positioned on raised stages, etc., simply by removing the lower column element - the spacer - to keep its directionality in line with the audience. Loud on the dance floor, assertive in the front rows, and conversation-friendly in the back of the room, the HK Audio POLAR 12's sound pressure gradually tapers to ensure a satisfying audio experience for everyone in the room.

Placing POLAR 12 anywhere is a breeze thanks to its wide dispersion angle, homogeneous volume distribution and excellent feedback resistance.

When POLAR 12 is placed on the floor, the subwoofer, spacer and mid-tweeter unit provide the perfect vertical orientation for a standing and/or seated audience. When set up on a raised stage, the optimum height is achieved by removing the spacer.

Built-in four-channel mixer

The built-in four-channel mixer provides multiple connections for many applications - two channels for mic or line signals, a special instrument channel for acoustic guitar or similar, and an Aux channel for pre-recorded music.

POLAR 12 also enables wireless audio playback via Bluetooth 5.0 , which has four times the range of previous versions.

Three sound modes (Music, Voice and DJ) and a semi-parametric master equalizer allow users to easily and effectively adjust the sound of the POLAR 12. In addition, up to five sound settings can be saved as User Presets, which can be recalled as needed.

For events in very large rooms or outdoors, the POLAR 12 can be conveniently used as a delay speaker. Using the integrated display, users can set the distance from the main sound system to the POLAR 12 system, and the DSP will automatically calculate the appropriate delay time.

Volume controls for four channels, master volume and subwoofer are directly accessible in all applications. Settings that are required less frequently, such as the Semi-Parametric Master Equalizer, are accessed via the rotary push button and easy-to-read display. The newly developed EAS Connect connection system connects the three main components of the POLAR 12 comfortably, securely and wobble-free; cables are not required.

Accessories included

The POLAR 12 comes complete with a padded gig bag for the two column elements and a padded protective bag for the subwoofer.

Naturally, two POLAR 12 systems can be used for a stereo setup.
